Target Alliance has been retained by a high profile enterprise SaaS technology leader to identify a VP Marketing. This extremely fast growing company has a network of offices worldwide and a global team of c1700. Backed by a major PE player they have ambitious expansion plans that will be achieved through acquisition and organic growth.
As VP of Marketing, your primary responsibility will be to create and implement a global marketing strategy tailored to your business unit. Your expertise in generating pipeline via integrated programs, including the creation and execution of campaigns, events and compelling content will be crucial in meeting sales pipeline requirements and driving business unit growth. You'll lead a marketing department of 11 motivated members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Marketing planning: Develop a marketing strategy for your business unit that aligns with central marketing strategy and business objectives.
• Lead and manage business unit Product Marketing strategy and requirements.
• Integrated Marketing: Build and execute integrated marketing programs that effectively utilize channels and budget to deliver on business unit goals.
• Team management: Manage and motivate your team to execute programs effectively, maximising ROI and pipeline.
• Campaign and event management: Plan and oversee marketing campaigns and digital/in-person events that align with both the central marketing strategy and the specific needs of your business unit, ensuring brand consistency and high engagement.
• Content development: Lead the creation of compelling content that supports your marketing strategy, attracts and engages the target audience, and drives lead generation and conversion.
• Data-driven approach: Utilize a data-driven methodology to inform marketing decisions and effective use of budget, ensuring that lead generation efforts are effectively meeting the sales pipeline's demands.
• Collaboration with Sales: Work closely with the sales team to ensure that marketing and sales efforts are aligned, optimizing market penetration and revenue growth for your business unit.
• Performance Analysis and Reporting: Analyse and report on the effectiveness of your business unit marketing activities, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Experience Requirements:
• An experienced senior marketing leader from a global B2B SaaS environment. PE / VC exposure is ideal.
• An orientation and track record of pipeline generation, GTM, and commercial growth is essential.
• Previous experience marketing to regulated industries is ideal.
• Previous experience in global marketing with an understanding of regional differences.
